Mr. Ray has contributed to a variety of consulting assignments in the
areas of intellectual property economics, antitrust and trade regulation,
and the calculation of economic damages in commercial disputes. His
research in these areas spans many industries and has been incorporated
into both expert testimony and presentations to mediators and regulatory
agencies. In matters involving intellectual property, Mr. Ray has consulted
on the estimation of damages for cases involving patent, trademark, and
copyright infringement, the theft of trade secrets, and Lanham Act violations.
He has also valued intellectual property for purposes of SFAS
141/142 compliance, transfer pricing, and asset sales and analyzed various
claims related to the alleged anticompetitive use of patents and copyrights.
Mr. Ray has published articles in the International Tax Journal and
Managing Intellectual Property.
