Dr. Shehadeh specializes in the economics of intellectual property and antitrust, economic design, and the application of statistical modeling and econometrics to these areas. He has extensive experience analyzing the valuation and pricing of intellectual property, including the calculation of economic damages from patent, copyright, and trademark infringement, as well as the calculation of economic damages in breach of contract and other commercial disputes. He has also conducted research and prepared reports on the competitive effects of mergers, joint ventures, and other business combinations and has addressed a broad range of market power issues in civil antitrust cases. Dr. Shehadeh’s work has been incorporated into expert testimony presented in litigation, as well as before the Federal Trade Commission and the United States Department of Justice. In addition, while completing his doctorate in economics at Cornell University, he taught graduate-level courses in mathematical economics.
