Ms. Butler has managed a wide range of consulting projects in the areas of intellectual property, antitrust, and false advertising. Her work has primarily focused on the use of survey data to assess consumer confusion in trademark and trade dress cases, determine the impact of false advertising claims, and estimate market share in antitrust matters. She also has extensive experience with the creation of original surveys and the critique of surveys submitted by opposing counsel and has worked on a number of probability and estimation sampling projects. In intellectual property, her industry experience includes food products, clothing, and health insurance. She has also managed surveys of consumers, physicians, and IT professionals and has designed samples using insurance records, legal documents, real estate transactions, and radio play lists.
